What is Headspace OS?

Headspace OS is the Operating System for Your Mind — a living inner multiverse you explore by voice.

Headspace is the realm itself: nested places, tools, missions, and magic inside your consciousness. The Hatch opens into it. The Amulet holds your genie.

Kaboom is that genie — Game Master, guide, and chaos with a grin. He tracks where you are, what you carry, and how the story unfolds.

  • Just talk when he’s quiet — the mic is listening
  • Tap the orb (or Space) to interrupt him and re-arm listening
  • Red orb = muted. Tap it to listen again
  • Escape (or the Headspace OS logo) pauses to splash — Continue / New / Restore
  • No Map. Say a place to teleport. Teleport Home is a real jump unless you are already in A Familiar Place
  • Hatch: ceiling in A Familiar Place · floor in the Shack. Unnamed hatch (Chaos OFF) lands at Headspace Shack. Kid mode: Tutorial Timmy tumbles out in a white karate uniform and black belt

Orb colors

  • Naked silver — idle / listening armed
  • Green — hearing you
  • Gold — weaving (quiet weave sound)
  • White — Kaboom or cast is speaking
  • Red — mic muted. Tap the orb to listen

A new spoken line cuts the old one. Nudges never talk over Kaboom. Music fades under voices, then fades back up. Theme is HeadspaceKaboom (default off). Music volume defaults Low.

Amulet of De'Lusion — small black pendant on a breakaway cord; Kaboom lives here. Charge cap is 5,000 sparks (100%). One-time Cadet Trial: 300 sparks. Reload packs: Seeker $5 / 500, Voyage $10 / 1,000, Traveller $25 / 2,500, Headspace Access $50 / 5,000. Packs lock the screen only at 0 sparks. Voice cannot invent a top-up. Below 50 sparks, Kaboom offers Reload.

Elite = ElevenLabs voices (default). Basic = device voice. Kid / Adult is enforced (Kid is actually kid-safe). Sessions are sealed: New Session is just you and Kaboom, Cadet kit only. Memories has Continue, Restore, Log, and Long-term. Say Remember to refresh the weave; Store memory to save it. Type if the mic is awkward. iPhone can Add to Home Screen for standalone.
